Shiva Eye Shell:

This beautiful and unique shell is an operculum, a “trap door” to the snail shell.

It is said to protect those who wear this shell. This shell is named after the Hindu God, Shiva. Folklore suggests that this shell provides good luck to travelers and fishermen. It is called “Mermaids’ Money”. These shells are found all over the world but are specific to Thailand.

Abalone Shell:

These shells are a type of mollusk that are ear shaped and one sided. They cling to rocks near the shore. The shell is extremely durable. They are very colorful and have a beautiful iridescence property. They are found mainly in North American and South Africa. They can also be found along the coasts of New Zealand, Australia and Japan.
